Murder on the Dance Floor

Our brand new murder mystery, written by Angela Witcher is ‘Murder on the Dance Floor’.

A hot, humid evening in November 1984 and it is the final week of ‘See the Stars Dance’, the hit TV show where celebrities compete to take the crown. Three couples remain but only one can win. With a fearsome trio of judges presiding, who will emerge victorious?

This interactive murder mystery is the third to be produced and performed by InsideOutside Theatre Company. Last year’s show ‘Lights, Camera, Murder’ played to full houses so get your tickets now.

You can come dressed in 80s style or ballroom dancing attire and will become detectives for the night. Enjoy the show with a 2 course freshly cooked meal and BYO alcohol at all venues except Ipswich which has a licensed bar.

We will be performing on 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29 August at Mousetrap Theatre in Redcliffe, 5 September at The Corso, North Lakes and 12 September at the Pride Restaurant, Ipswich.

 The Snow Queen

Snow Queen PosterThanks to a grant from RADF our original script has now been workshopped and completed. We have some fabulous photos to show for it; you can see a snippet of those on our Facebook Page

A reimagined story of Hans Christian Andersen’s classic character, The Snow Queen, our story takes audiences on a magical journey through time, reality and a modern day video game. Nicknamed “the Tron of fairy tales” by our cast, the story follows a young girl struggling with mental illness, stuck as a pawn in an epic battle between The Snow Queen and the King of the Underworld. Who will triumph, and will the surrealism of her adventure help cure the reality of her illness?

We are in the process of developing this production into a web series and performed a preview at Roma Street Parklands in April.
