Everyone has the right freely to participate in the cultural life of the community, and to enjoy the arts and share in scientific advancement and its benefits’ United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948
One in 5 people in Australia have a profound or severe disability. However, there is little access to professional training and employment opportunities as performers.
We are starting to change this by working closely with organisations offering life skills and networking opportunities to people with disabilities. We intend to work towards building a strong following for our work leading to increased audience capacity and further employment opportunities for both the disability and arts sectors within our community.
